Augmentative communication aids were designed to assist people who had severe speech motor disabilities in communication. The motion impaired users easily communicate by computer based devices. Now these devices use alternative input methods instead of traditional mouse or keyboard due to this the communication take place at slow pace. A technique used for this is called Compansion it improves communication rate of augmentative communication users. In this technique the sequence of root words was converted to a grammatically well formed sentence. In order to make conversions it requires significant linguistics knowledge. This is its major drawback as it requires limits applicability of Compansion to languages for which such knowledge does not exist. We propose enhancements to make Compansion work for non-English languages. Based on the proposed enhancements, we have developed a word to sentence generator. The word to sentence generator is used in Sanyog – an augmentative communication system in Bengali, a language spoken primarily in Eastern India and Bangladesh.Buy Electronic cig This article also showed applicability development and evaluation of this option.
